Sources say that ROBOT - The dream project which is to be directed by S.Shankar, unlikely to keep its name, Robot, due to the English title in Tamil Nadu, whose government present tax exemption to films with Tamil titles. Likely titles suggested to proceed Robot as the title, include Iyandiran or Iyandira, both literal translations of Robot to Tamil. The film's scripting is going on as told by Shankar in two interviews. Once the scripting is done, there will be an announcement regarding the commencement of production. Meanwhile Rajnikanth will finish his pending films.
Other sources also say that the movie emphasis on the impact of Robots on humanity and Rajni will be playing a dual role, one being a positive role of a scientist and other being negative role of a Robot.
