Robot Audio launched in Hyderabad!!
The presence of Aishwarya Rai and Rajinikanth in the city, sent star-struck fans into a tizzy. CHIRU AND MOHANBABU WERE AMONG THOSE INVITED FOR THE LAUNCH.
It’s raining superstars in Hyderabad — literally! With the star cast of Shankar’s much-hyped Robot descending on the city on Friday morning for the audio launch, a frenzy of sorts gripped star-starved Hyderabad.
Ever since they heard Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are flying down to attend the audio launch of the film, the who’s who of Tollywood had been queuing up to attend the
event that's now being touted the "audio launch of the year." Fans too spent most of Friday morning doing the rounds of a star hotel where the actors were touted to be staying, all in the hope of getting a dekko of their favourite screen idols.
The last time Rajinikanth came to Hyderabad was for the launch of his movie Kathanayakudu. He visited Adlabs where he was mobbed and he fell down. This time, to prevent such a mishap, the attendance of Rajinikanth and Aishwarya was kept under wraps until Thursday. Media crew armed with their cameras rolling continuously waited at the Samshabad International airport as Rajinikanth landed in the city on Friday morning. Rumours were ripe that the movie's music director A.R. Rahman too would be present at the audio launch, though no one confirmed the same.
With an entertainment channel belonging to Kalanidhi Maran bagging the movie rights, no other TV channel was allowed to telecast the event live. AP, with the highest number of TV channels, kept guessing where Rajinikanth was put up to get a quick sound byte.
"Actor-turned-politician Rajinikanth's cian Chiranjeevi and best friend Mohanbabu, were some of the Tollywood biggies on the guest list for this audio launch. The star personally invited audio Tollywood stars to the launch," said a source, adding, Some even sent their cars to the airport to bring him to their place. But the star left for the hotel in a car arranged by his movie unit and stayed there all day."
